Details of Rocker Bearing

These type of bearing are rugged/robust which provides very long life and safety to the structure. These bearings consist of one or more rollers of steel along with a rocker arrangement which permits a longitudinal and rotational movement. Raw materials for MS/CS bearing is tested as per IS-2062/IS-1030. Each bearing is also tested to 125% of capacity load.

Main Principle

There are three types of Linear Rocker Bearings: fixed, guided-sliding and free-sliding Linear Rocker Bearings.

Field of Application

Linear Rocker Bearing is used, where, due to limited space (e.g. narrow piers), the use of pot bearings is impossible as well as where no rotations in transversal direction will occur.
